Activities
Planning your Visit
A previsit to the Asian galleries prior to
scheduling a school tour is advised in order to
ensure that the works of art you want to study
are on display.
When to go
To use the DIA lesson plans in tandem with
another class (such as coordinating social
studies and art classes), plan your visit to the
museum in between the social studies and art
lessons. Students will benefit from having a
history of Asia's cultures before viewing the
works of art in the DIA.
